The Passage Agard in Aix-en-Provence, dating back to 1359 when a Carmelite convent settled there, is a picturesque passageway between the Cours Mirabeau and the Place du Palais de Justice, loaded with tiny shops and small restaurants. We stumbled upon it quite by happenstance and I was attracted to the way the light filtered down from above, striking the figures, and all the crazy angles - definitely a "place of interest" for this plein air artist.
