On one Kauai paint-out, we were graciously invited to Grove Farm Home/Museum to paint. I searched the grounds, the village houses, the poultry pens and banana patch, and the Office along with the early 1900s home that is now maintained as a museum.
Then I came upon these beauties. It was an irresistible scene for me. What once were two separate garages, are now holding each other up.
Much like two sots after a long drinking binge. (Not that I would know!) Their great personality and colors captured me.
It was brutally hot and without any shade that day. I painted quickly for fear that would both collapse before I could finish!
