I enjoyed painting this scene from the front yard of a beautiful home along Kaneohe Bay Drive on the Windward side of Oahu. When I began it was early morning and the tide was low. I was attracted by the towering palms and the beautiful light illuminating the Ko'olau mountains. Several hours later the coral reef could no longer be seen. I was glad to have had an early start! (Kaneohe, Oahu)
